Podcasting - how easy can it be?

I launched my first podcast for the university called “Leaders Who Learn” (link: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/leaders-who-learn/id1519124194), and it is still available on Apple and Spotify, boasting 28 episodes. It started off initially as a marketing project, turned promotional tool, content driver, SEO item, and then finally as a networking resource. The hosting duties were passed around some of the university’s leadership. I was responsible for marketing the episodes, creating social media posts from the content, distributing it across our networks, and helping with production.

It was relatively easy, so my coworker and I launched our own podcast with the intention to do what the first podcast was doing— help get relevant messaging about social impact, leadership entrepreneurship, and make some friends along the way. We called the podcast, “World Champs” https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/01-introduction-to-the-world-champs-podcast-series/id1482414821?i=1000461954783 .

Unfortunately, my co-host and co-producer and I enrolled in our doctorate programs, and we were only able to share 5 episodes. It was easy, but if we wanted to make a difference with our words, our guests, and messaging, we had to be intentional and actually spend the time— which is the hardest part of the entire podcasting process.
